THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN VOLUNTEERING FOR SESSION TORONTO 2017. WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENTHUSIASTIC AND MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS TO HELP US WITH A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT TASKS DURING THE FESTIVAL TAKING PLACE JUNE 10, 2017 @ TORONTO’S Y&D SQUARE ONE OF THE BUSIEST INTERSECTIONS IN CANADA , SERVING OVER 100,000 PEDESTRIANS DAILY.

Volunteer Positions
Roles & Responsibilities:


Greeters & Ticket Scanners – 30 positions available
Greet and scan tickets and ensure that all ticket holders that are of legal age 
Direct patrons to the Tasters Glass / Ticket table
Provide event information to patrons
At the gate, we only admit people with a valid picture ID, and we turn away people who are already intoxicated.

First Aid Attendants – 6 positions available
Provide patrons with bottled water or non alcoholic beverages
Work with the Security Team to ensure everyone is safe during the event
volunteers must have first aid training


Keg/Ice Runners – 10 positions available
Move kegs, ice and any other materials to and from the reefer and vendor booths as needed
Runners must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds


Set-up / Tear-down Team

Set-up Team – 15 positions available
Set up event space
Walking the grounds to ensure there are no tripping hazards
Setting up tables for the entrance gates and check-in areas, VIP area, First Aid booth, etc.
Respond to other requests of the festival Managers
Assist vendors in re-stocking their booths


Tear-down Team – 15 positions available
Tear down event space
Walk the grounds to ensure nothing has been left behind
Make sure everything is properly and safely loaded on the festival truck
Respond to other requests of the festival Managers


VIP – Princess Pass Host/Hostess – 10 available positions
Princess Pass holders pay extra in order to have an area where they get treated like a “Princess” can sit & relax and enjoy the Session.  These are our “special guests” and as a “Princess” Host/Hostess, it is your responsibility to ensure that these guests have a great experience.
Greet and scan tickets for the VIP guests and ensure that all ticket holders are of legal age
Direct guests to the VIP area,  and hand them their Tasters Glass and beer tickets
During the Session, ensure that food and beverages are stocked and the VIP area remains clean and presentable
At the end of the Session, ensure that the VIP area is clean and clear of garbage, and consolidate all trash and recycling
Re-stock the VIP area after each Session
Servers for beer (must be smart-served)


The Green Team – 10 positions available
During the Sessions make sure that all areas are tidy, ensure all trash and recycling bins are contained and consolidated
At the end of each Session, clean up the grounds and consolidate all garbage  / recycling  
Ensure that all vendor spaces are free of any garbage / recycling before the next Session begins


The Griffin Bartenders – 12 positions available
Must be smart serve
Pouring beer from maybe different breweries
Setup, activation and tear down of Griffin Communal Bar
